The UK’s biggest artificial grass brand will be turning a Chiswick street into a lush green garden for its annual summer street party on Saturday 13th September.
LazyLawn will be rolling out 100 square metres of high quality artificial turf on Devonshire Road for the street party, which is organised by local independent businesses to thank the community for its support.
The artificial grass specialist’s much-loved bunny mascot Lazy Larry will also be putting in an appearance on the day.
Andy Driver, Marketing Director at LazyLawn, comments:
We are delighted to support the Devonshire Road street party once again this year and to be able to add that summer garden feel to the event with our artificial turf.
It was a pleasure to attend last year’s event and to be able to transform the street with our artificial grass.
We are always keen to support the local community and independent businesses, and it is great to see how well supported the event is.
Organiser Mike Moran, of Chiswick’s Top Hat Cleaners, comments:
I help organise the Discover Devonshire Road Event and also worked with the LazyLawn team last year, they laid artificial turf on the road last year.
It completely changed the event, in looks obviously, but also the feel under foot, transforming Devonshire Road in to Devonshire Gardens.
Of course it also saved many bruised knees and elbows during the tumbles of our charity male stiletto race.
The LazyLawn team worked well with us and got on very well with the community, and their efforts are very much appreciated.
Part of Devonshire Road will be closed for the event, which will include music, street performers, a hog roast and numerous other activities, as well as stalls from local businesses.
LazyLawn has become the latest garden must-have in Chiswick, with home owners turning to artificial turf to cut down on their garden maintenance.
