A busy London pub has recently installed artificial grass from LazyLawn to revamp its outdoor space says its customers are happy to lounge on it on summer days and nights.
The Craft Beer Company at Clapham, a pub popular with young professionals, had more than 100 square metres of LazyLawn’s Runaround turf installed in its beer garden due to its durability and low maintenance.
“We thought it would be a nice use of our outdoor space, as we have a large outdoor area that is popular with customers.” explained Stephen Balderson, Marketing Manager at the Craft Beer Company, “Here in London not many pubs, or people for that matter, have the luxury of a garden in which to relax on hot summer evenings, so we thought by installing the artificial grass along with a few flowers we could make our pub feel more homely to our customers.”
The pub has found that its customers often sit on the grass itself, allowing better use of the space and a relaxed, pastoral vibe.
Stephen continued,
“We’ve found the lawn to be very low maintenance as it’s easy to clean, we sweep and wipe it down every night and it only takes a few minutes. We would certainly recommend it to other establishments, and would come back to LazyLawn if we were to take on a similar suitable pub in the future.”
